Mask Requirement 

Masks are optional at all Christie Clinic locations. If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms you will be asked to wear a mask while in Christie Clinic facilities. 

Coronavirus Visitor Policy

In order to protect the health of our communities, and as a safety precaution to prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19, we have instituted visitor restrictions in accordance with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Patients being seen at any Christie Clinic location may be accompanied by no more than one adult caretaker. Additional visitors will be asked to return to their car. Some departments may have implemented a zero visitor policy. Please follow instructions given by the department when scheduling your appointment.

What are the Symptoms?

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
