I have always been drawn to healthcare from a young age and specifically working with adults and older adults.
In the Department of Internal Medicine, Michele specializes in working with adults and elders with anxiety, depression, grief, cognitive deficits/dementia and/or chronic illnesses. She sees patients by Internal Medicine referral only.
I was born and raised in Illinois and I enjoy spending time with family, reading and traveling.
Working with people to assist them during their health related challenges from understanding their health issues, to assisting in finding appropriate resources to providing counseling. Health care social work allows me to work with people from diagnosis to possibly end of life by assisting to clarify their care wishes and decisions for their current situation as well as assist as their needs and wishes change.
